Registration Conditions
& Payment

Payment and registration conditions seminars

  1. Once you have signed up for a seminar, a confirmation will be sent to you.

  2. Your registration date is taken to be the date shown on the digital registration form.

  3. An invoice will reach you at least three weeks ahead of your chosen seminar's start date. Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date, and in all cases no later than one day before the seminar begins.

  4. Where registration takes place within three weeks before the seminar's start date, the payment deadline stated on the invoice does not apply. The full amount must instead be paid no later than one day before the seminar begins.

  5. If no proof of payment can be shown when the seminar opens, the participant will be denied entry, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  6. You are entitled to a right of withdrawal. Your registration may be cancelled by e-mail within 14 days of registering, and any seminar fees already paid will be refunded to you. This right does not apply where enrolment takes place within the 14 days before the course begins; in that case, point 8 applies.

  7. Any refund will be processed within 14 days of the cancellation being received and will be returned to the account from which payment was made.

  8. If you enrol fewer than 14 days before the seminar begins, you waive your right of withdrawal. This waiver takes effect on the first day of the seminar, once you have signed the attendance list.

  9. Withdrawing from a seminar can only be done by e-mail. What counts is the day your notice arrives at our office. The processing charges below apply to cancellations:

    • More than 21 days before the seminar: free of charge

    • Between 21 and 15 days before the start: 25% of the course fee

    • Between 14 and 8 days before the start: 50% of the course fee

    • From 7 days before the start, as well as no-shows: the full course fee

    • You can also avoid any cancellation fee by sending a substitute to attend in your place. In this case too, what counts is the date we receive your written notice.

Discounts

LACM offers the following discount

Students in TCM education: 5%. This applies to students currently enrolled in a TCM programme in the Netherlands or elsewhere in Europe. The discount does not apply to anyone who has already obtained a TCM diploma from such a programme.

Refunds

As a rule, LACM does not refund course fees. An exception may be made only in serious situations where a participant cannot attend the seminar due to a major accident, illness, or bereavement. In such cases, the participant or a family member may submit a refund request to the office within three weeks of the seminar's start date. Supporting evidence must accompany the request.
